Bath Stone Cleaning

Bath stone cleaning doesn't have to be expensive

Our tests, in conjunction with leading stonemasons has revealed a breakthrough in cleaning bath stone, something that will be a relief to the average householder as it vastly reduces the costs involved in maintaining the look of this beautiful stone.

Many of the properties we've been asked to 'clean' are in fairly good condition but just need to be relieved of the dirt and algae, that deposits itself and 'hangs' on to the stone that is normally difficult to remove...until now.

Our fluoride based product reacts extremely quickly to fight dirt and algae, destroying the detritus that is holding on walls and structures which is not just common to Bath stone but presents itself on other types of stone and brick, paving and walls.

By coating areas by brush or spray we can clean and remove dirt without the need for cleaning with excessive amounts of water, or in other cases leave it to work over a longer period and repel further attacks of unsightly dark and harmful deposits. We also reduce costs involved with scaffolding that adds to what can be an expensive exercise in home maintenance and buildings needing a little TLC.

Bath stone erosion

All bath stone can be treated to control erosion which in essence is what we are aiming to achieve by the most sympathetic measures possible. Another method is now available to pursue, before we exhaust all options before eroding a little more with water pressure, sand blasting or dry ice blasting.

Many of the current methods of bath stone cleaning are perfectly acceptable, however, we must look at other possible ways of keeping the looks of bath stone and other surfaces intact, that should be treated with an expectation of preservation.

Further tests have shown that we are able to treat other areas such as drives, patios, paving, decking and fences to name just a few examples where we can avoid erosion by the force of water.

Every time that water is used on drives and paving there is the consideration of re-sanding or re-pointing AND there is no guarantee that the surfaces will not be under attack by the growth of fresh algae and lichen. This is ever present in the atmosphere especially where trees and other natural growth exist.

Our methods are not only to replenish the looks after dirt attack but also to prevent attack from the atmosphere before it happens.
